- Since 2004 Chair of Labor Law and Civil Law at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University of Munich, Director of the Center for Labor Relations and Labor Law (ZAAR) at the LMU.
- 1998 to early 2004 Chair of Civil Law, Labor Law, Commercial and Business Law at the University of Mannheim.
- Extensive practical experience, from corporate consulting to arbitration (air traffic controllers’ labor dispute) of collective bargaining and works constitution disputes, establishment of European stock corporations to expert opinions on legal issues.
- Numerous publications, including a standard commentary on the Collective Bargaining Act and commentaries in Staudinger, columns in newspapers.
- His research focuses on collective labour law (collective bargaining law, industrial action law, works constitution law, corporate co-determination), the strategic design of labour relations and the changes in labour law 4.0 with a focus on organizational issues.
Additional Information
Professor Rieble supports the law firm as a non-lawyer academic advisor, in particular by preparing expert opinions and answering difficult legal questions. In accordance with the legal requirements (Bundesgerichtshof 22.7.2020 – AnwZ (Brfg) 3/20), he does not conduct any external legal business.
